Why ScanCube ?
We wanted a French partner offering compact, robust and relatively simple equipment for intensive daily use. We've been using a Scancube 626 for over 12 years and we've just acquired a ScanCube 516 on which we have 3 digital cameras (two on tripods and one on top of the ScanCube).
What did you do before?
We used to have a photo studio with a backdrop, cumbersome moving lights, a tripod, a single camera that we had to keep moving around and wires. We had to retouch, crop and rename all the photo files... which was very time-consuming.
How would you describe ScanCube in a few words?
It's as indispensable a tool as a PC or photocopier. We use it every day, all day long. We take around 70,000 photos a year and it was essential for us to have compact equipment that combined all the lighting and photo processing functions.
What has ScanCube brought to Quimper Enchères?
In a few words, ScanCube saves space, time and energy. The functions that interest us most are the management of several digital cameras, multi-cropping, automatic focusing, cropping and the turntable.

Photographing a bottle of wine is not an easy task, especially because of the reflections. ScanCube brought us the technicality and simplicity of operation that we needed. After a first experience 5 years ago with a light box from another brand, we were hesitant to reinvest in this type of equipment when it broke down. Indeed the photos taken with this box required permanent retouching with the skills of a graphic designer.
